# Glossary

||
## Form
|
||
|
||
An administrator-authored questionnaire with an open or closed state and optional
|
||
Discord role restrictions.
|
||
|
||
## Question
|
||
|
||
An ordered prompt within a form. Its answer shape is text, long text, one choice, or
|
||
multiple choices.
|
||
|
||
## Local draft
|
||
|
||
Unsubmitted or in-progress answers stored in the current browser for one form. A local
|
||
draft is device-specific and is not authoritative.
|
||
|
||
## Submission
|
||
|
||
The server-saved answer set for one form and one Discord account. A person can have at
|
||
most one submission per form.
|
||
|
||
## Update
|
||
|
||
A replacement of the answer values in an existing submission. The previous values are
|
||
retained in edit history.
|
||
|
||
## Other answer
|
||
|
||
Free text associated with an explicit “Other” choice. Selecting “Other” requires
|
||
non-empty text, even when the overall question is optional.
|
||
|
||
## Closed form
|
||
|
||
A form that no longer accepts new submissions or updates. A person with an existing
|
||
submission may still read or delete it.
|
||
|
||
## XP leaderboard
|
||
|
||
A public ranking of stored level 1+ members by cumulative XP.
|
||
|
||
## VC leaderboard
|
||
|
||
A public ranking of cumulative voice time across the guild’s current voice and Stage
|
||
channels, or one selected current channel.
|
||
|
||
## Current channel
|
||
|
||
A Discord voice or Stage channel returned by the guild channel API at the time its
|
||
five-minute metadata cache is filled. Deleted and historical channels are not current.
|
||
|
||
## Shared rank
|
||
|
||
A competition ranking in which equal values receive the same position and the next
|
||
position skips the tied places, such as 1, 2, 2, 4.
|
||
|
||
## Leaderboard read model
|
||
|
||
The website’s uncached, read-only view of the bot-owned `user_levels` and `voice_time`
|
||
tables, combined with current Discord channel metadata.
|
||
|
||
## Leaderboard SSE event
|
||
|
||
A minimal Redis notification on `erika:sse:leaderboards` that tells an open XP or VC
|
||
page to refresh its Server Component data after a bot transaction commits.
|
||
|
||
## Guild profile
|
||
|
||
The private `/profile` view for the currently authenticated Discord member. It joins
|
||
Discord identity and roles with that member's level, XP, current-channel voice time,
|
||
and leaderboard ranks without exposing a public member-profile URL.
|
||
|
||
## Level progress
|
||
|
||
The member's XP accumulated since reaching their stored level, measured against the
|
||
bot's XP requirement for the next level. Level 200 is the maximum and has no next-level
|
||
progress bar.
